Job Description:
The Designated Associate Pastor (Youth and Young Adults) will be directly responsible for the leadership, management and growth of the youth/young adult programs to meet the evolving needs of our congregation and surrounding community. Primary duties include weekly teaching and leadership of youth/young adult worship program (10% of allocated time) and planning/participation in youth/young adult events (25% of allocated time). Additional responsibilities include: ongoing leadership recruiting and development (10% of allocated time); training and discipleship (10% of allocated time); and development of programming that enriches the worship life, discipleship and community building of the target demographic (30% of allocated time). There is an expectation of a substantial amount of time (15% of allocated time) being invested in reaching the targeted demographic through participation in activities outside of the established church community.

Requirements:

Ready for ordination within the PC(USA) or already ordained within PC(USA).
