Job Description
New Albany ChurchMAIN OBJECTIVE
The Church Administrative Director functions as the church's chief operations and financial officer and is specifically responsible for all financial and budgetary issues, facility, personnel, communications, ministry departmental development and all other general operational functions.

The Church Administrative Director should possess management experience, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to properly delegate. Of utmost importance is a heart that is "wired for people" and thrives on nurturing and developing others.
QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree; direct financial and administrative management experience, preferably in church or non-profit administration; excellent organizational, analytical, financial, and writing skills; proven ability to meet deadlines, develop and implement program policies and procedures, and manage changing and conflicting priorities; outstanding leadership, supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills. A devoted Christian with wholehearted belief in the New Albany Church Mission and Vision is essential; willingness and ability to serve Christ and His church; spiritually mature.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities


-Administration

A. Financial Reports: Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end reports as needed.
B. Filing: Oversee the maintenance of an accurate filing, recordkeeping, and reporting system for all financial matters.

C. Accounting Procedures: Oversee a process to insure that GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) is maintained at all times.

3. Follow proper payroll procedures
4. Make sure all income and expenses are properly accounted for and safeguarded
5. Responsible for monitoring internal controls and accounting procedures

D. Special Projects: Complete other projects as needed.
-Leadership

A. Budget: Prepare, administrate, and review the annual budget process in collaboration with the Executive Team. Assist in presenting the budget to the New Albany Church Leadership team for approval. Oversee purchasing function by monitoring budget spending.
B. Supervision: Oversee staff facility/maintenance.
C. Department Administration
-Ministry Development
A. Oversee assimilation of new and existing members into the New Albany Church Ministry steps.
B. Oversee the volunteer recruitment process and volunteer placement process.
C. Oversee some specific Ministry departments.
D. Develop new ministry departments as needed.
-Communications
A. Oversee all communication venues and mediums.
B. Develop and improve communication tools for both the church body and leadership.
