Job Description:
The Senior Pastor will mobilize the congregation to bring others to Christ, grow members in knowledge and faith, and multiply disciples and leaders, with a goal of doubling our weekly attendance and prayerfully beginning the process of planting new churches.
• Has a vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Exemplifies Biblical integrity and character in leadership.
• Has proven experience in growing a church from approximately 200 to 500 weekly attendees.
• Has proven experience in forming church planting teams.
• Delivers dynamic, scriptural messages that are practical and transformational.
• Is a capable leader who develops staff, elders and deacons through training and empowerment.
• Is mission minded while being pastorally sensitive to the needs of existing members.
• Is able to meet and accept people where they are while inviting them to greater passion and growth in Christ.
• Has proven skills in leading a multi-generational congregation with two distinct worship services.
• Is effective in resourcing all facets of a congregation’s mission..
• Has passion for multiplying disciples, leaders, small groups, ministries and churches.
• Has proven leadership ability to balance church conflict while achieving strategic goals.
