Shore Fellowship Church is looking immediately for a dynamic Worship Leader to take our growing congregation to a new level. Shore Fellowship is a rapidly expanding church located at the New Jersey Shore offering a contemporary cutting edge worship experience along with solid Biblical teaching making use of contemporary worship music, video and other media to enhance the weekly message. Shore Fellowship already has in place a seasoned team of musicians and singers looking for fresh, enthusiastic leadership. Our new 750 seat auditorium is the perfect venue for the right person to take our 1,200 plus congregation to greater heights of praise and worship.
As Worship Leader, you will work directly with the Pastor of Worship and Arts in the planning, scheduling and creation of compelling services and special events. The Worship Leader will oversee music and lead in the Sunday morning services, work with and grow a mid-week youth service and other special services or events as requested throughout the year.
We are looking for an individual who is gifted in the following areas:
Able to effectively communicate and lead worship, as well as recruit, encourage and train volunteers in the music ministry. The individual should be an accomplished musician and vocalist and be able to teach parts to vocalists and work with musicians to improve their individual skills. The individual must also be able to provide team leadership as well as spiritual mentoring to participants of worship ministry teams as needed or appropriate and establish a spiritual vitality in every aspect of worship ministry.
The Worship Leader is also responsible for developing, building and overseeing future worship teams within the church in the area of youth, singles and with an additional goal of helping to recruit and equip future worship teams at our primary campus and for satellite churches in the planning.
Prospective candidates should have the ability to work and minister as part of a team of highly motivated and enthusiastic Christ followers looking to constantly develop and offer dynamic, cutting edge methods and venues for communicating the gospel message. Position may be full-time pending certain developments within the ministry.
